LOCAL PHYSICAL THERAPISTS BAND TOGETHER IN NEW BUSINESS MODEL
NEWEST THERAPIST TO JOIN IN OLD TOWN SCOTTSDALE CORRIDOR
Scottsdale, AZ – One local physical therapy group that challenges the way patients receive outpatient rehabilitation services has a new location coming to the Valley. Over 20 local physical therapy clinics have banded together to stay competitive against larger physical therapy franchises, and yet stay true to the one-on-one care their patients rave about.
With a growing trend in larger conglomerates putting other businesses out of business, the practitioners that are a part of the Empower Physical Therapy family have found that joining that family is a way to stay small and stay competitive at the same time. Hosmer Physical Therapy, owned by Janna Hosmer, PT, will soon become the newest member of the Empower Physical Therapy family.
“My passion and commitment have always been focused on restoring and optimizing quality of life for all patients,” says Hosmer. “Joining the Empower Physical Therapy family will only enhance that passion and commitment.”
Physical Therapist Janna Hosmer has been filling the needs of patients and referring physicians who have trusted her with the care of their patients for more than 20 years in the Old Town Scottsdale corridor. She will continue to do so at a bigger and updated location opening August 1, 2019 at 3301 N. Miller Road, Suite 170, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. There are currently four total employees at the new location, including Janna Hosmer, PT, Amanda Burke, PTA and Brisa Perez, Patient Care Coordinator. More recently, Melissa Anderson PT, DPT joined the Empower PT team and she has been a great asset to the clinic. She will be a key employee moving the clinic forward in the Empower PT structure.
Janna Hosmer graduated Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University in 1983 and has been practicing physical therapy for more than 30 years. She has developed expertise in orthopedic manual therapy to address musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. She also has extensive training in the treatment of balance deficits, movement impairment syndromes, postural dysfunction and fall prevention.
Empower Physical Therapy was created when like-minded private physical therapy clinic owners banded together to strengthen their beliefs and commitment to creating exceptional patient experiences and providing true value-based care. The staff at Empower PT focuses on unforgettable patient experiences through developing powerful relationships and providing personalized care. They do it by staying true to their core values, no matter what it takes, and putting patient needs first when it comes to healing through physical therapy.
The addition of Hosmer Physical Therapy to the Empower PT family puts the number of clinics in Arizona at 24 and is the 28th clinic overall for Empower Physical Therapy. Our therapist led company is one of the largest in Arizona. For other locations or to find out more about Empower Physical Therapy, visit their website at https://empowerpt.com/.
